The Fletcher Street Urban Riding Club evolved from a century-long tradition of Urban Black Cowboys in the ‘City of Brotherly Love’ and one man’s commitment to provide horsemanship experience in the inner-city. We currently have a GoFundMe organized by our founder, Ellis Ferrell, where you can make a donation of any amount. Everything makes a difference and we appreciate each and every dollar. We need the community’s help to ensure Fletcher Street Urban Riding Club has a place in the future of our city. All funds raised will go directly to the horses and future of the club! Fletcher Street Urban Riding Club is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to teaching horsemanship and equestrian related skills to the youth and inner-city community of Philadelphia.  Your contributions help support our program by deferring our extensive list of expenses. Tax-deductible cash donations as well as in-kind donations are greatly appreciated.

Donations will be used for:

Horse feed, hay, grooming / care supplies (So. Much. Hay!)
Medical costs for our horse family (Ellis has rescued horses his entire life.)
Transportation (horses in the back)
Building materials (repairs, wood for stalls / fences)
Gardening supplies (new projects)
